The Rock Camp Experience—formerly Rock Camp For Dads—is the Twin Cities premier rock n’ roll experience, now for EVERYONE.  We take the fantasy out of “fantasy camp” and make it a REALITY for any adult, amateur musicians ready for a musical journey. There will be be 3 Rock Camp bands total. Rocking starts around 2pm.

Get ready for a triple front-man assault — that’s right, three lead singers trading off on one stage — stacked on top of huge four-part harmony vocals, monster drums, and a full arena-rock production. The “Kids” bring the pedigree of bands like Hericane Alice, Soup Bones (an MN State Fair staple), and international touring act Blackfoot straight into a neighborhood bar setting. Expect a non-stop, feel-good rock party from the first song to the last.

Known as one of the Twin Cities’ most sought-after cover bands, Lipstick N Dynamite packs the dance floor everywhere they play — from Route 47 in Fridley to Bogart’s Entertainment Center to the Parktacular festival stage. Fronted by powerhouse vocalist Marissa, this five-piece throws a non-stop blast of hits spanning the 70s through today, with tribute sets built around rock’s biggest queens — Heart, Pat Benatar, Joan Jett, Quarterflash, Blondie and Lita Ford — fused with stadium favorites from Journey, Van Halen, Styx, Bon Jovi, Guns N’ Roses, P!nk, Bruno Mars and Maroon 5. They’ve played The Dog House before, and they’re back by popular demand!

Booked through 24 Seven Events & Marketing, Stone Daisy has recently played the MN State Fair and Cowboy Jacks Downtown Minneapolis — a 5-star, 100+ show band that knows how to fill a dance floor.

Flannel is Minnesota’s premier 90’s cover band, and they’re playing The Dog House on Friday, September 11th — all the hits, all night long.

Expect a set that spans the whole decade: Oasis’s “Wonderwall,” Red Hot Chili Peppers’ “Californication” and “Otherside,” Third Eye Blind’s “Semi-Charmed Life,” and everything else that was on the radio between flannel shirts and burned CDs. Flannel has been a repeat favorite at Twin Cities venues including Bogart’s Entertainment Center, and they know how to fill a dance floor.

Five bands, one night. The Dog House hosts Break the Silence Music & Arts Festival — a full night of Twin Cities heavy rock and metal featuring Dead By 50, Dreams Aside, Mirror of Being, Via Rock Via Roll, and Nuisance.
